In this guide we'll go through how to use the visualiser, software required, how to use the software.
Software Required:

How to get the visualiser to connect:

5. Once plugged in, Sphere2 should try and connect your device
6. Anything you have ready to display should then appear
Useful tools inside Sphere2:
Pen mode:
1. In Sphere2, at the bottom is a set of tools. You'll want to select the box with a pencil and ruler
2. Here you can choose the pen, highlighter, eraser and thickness of the line
3. You can then draw on what you have currently on display
Whiteboard mode:
1. At the top of 'Sphere2' you have three options
2. Click or tap on 'Whiteboard'
3. Here you'll have a blank canvas to be the pen feature on
You can make use of this feature fully when using the new interactive screens or if you have the old standard whiteboard and projector combo.
Side by Side mode:
1. At the top of 'Sphere2' you have three options
2. Click on 'Side by Side'
3. Your screen should change to look like so
Using this feature means you can be showing off a live demo of a piece of work as well as yourself. Perfect for a remote learning environment.
Buttons on the visualiser:
On the U50 visualiser model, there are 3 buttons.
- The camera capture button
- LED light
- Auto-Focus button
Camera Capture:
- Use this if you'd like to capture what's on the screen
- Photos take few seconds to process
- Photos go to Documents --> AVer --> Media Library --> Picture
LED Light:
- Press this button and light will shine down on what you're presenting
AF (Auto-Focus):
- This sharpens what you're displaying, especially if it's quite close
How to incorporate teaching with the visualisers with the new interactive screens:
Because the new screens are capacitive (touch-screen), this means you'll be able to make use of a key feature in Sphere2 such as the pen without having to be at your laptop.
1. Make sure the USB cable from the board is plugged into your laptop
2. The screen will now be touch-screen
3. You can now tap on the pen and start writing with the included stylus from the boards
