How to submit a Corero request

Modified on Fri, 16 Jul 2021 at 11:34 AM

In this article you can learn how to submit a financial request using the Corero Webtool

1) Go to https://corero.twynhamlearning.com/Deed/

2) You'll be brought to this page

3) Enter the username you've been provided and the password. The username will likely be your initials e.g. BBL

4) Leave the database as it is and click log in!

5) You'll then be brought to the home screen of Corero

6) Click 'My Requisitions'

7) Here you can see what you've recently put through, if it's been approved or declined, but for this please click 'New requisition'

8) I'll now go into detail what each of the following is

- Supplier: The supplier is who you are buying the product/s from. If you click 'Search' a big database of all the current accounts we have will appear with all the different suppliers we work with.

 a) Under 'Supplier Name' in the second column, type in the organisation and hit enter

b) Click on the 'line' and the suppliers number will be added

- Delivery FAO (For the Attention Of): This is who will be expecting the delivery. You'll just want to probably leave it as yourself.

- Cost Centre: This is where the money will be coming out from. If you run more than one department, this will be in the drop down list. If you know specifically that it's just coming from your department, don't choose 'capital spend'!

- Special Instructions: If you've been in touch with the company and they've provided a quote to you, in some cases they'll expect a 'Purchase Order' in return. If this is the case, I usually put "I will provide PO to supplier".

The end result should look like this

9) Click 'Add'

10) This next screen is where we start adding the first 'line'. A line is the product or what is described in the quote.

 a) For the sake of this tutorial, because we're ordering a laptop and it's with Dell, I'll want to choose in the list 'Education IT Equipment'. However, for pens for example it'll be 'Stationary'.

 b) Click on whichever one fits your criteria.

11) You'll then be taken to this screen

- Quantity: How many you would like.

- Unit Price: This is the cost of the product WITHOUT VAT ADDED ON.

- Supplier's Product Code: Any unique identifier on their website or quote.

- Description of Item(s): What it is.

Then you'll want to leave everything else as it is.

12) Click 'Add'.

13) The 'checkout' screen will then look like this

14) If there is postage, you'll also want to add this on. This is a 'Product Code' you can choose when you click 'Add Line'.

15) Another thing to note is that VAT will then be added on at the end.

16) Once you're happy, click submit! This request will then go to your 'budget holder'.
