SharePoint folder migration

In this article you can learn how to migrate folders into SharePoint


1. Firstly you need to open the  page you wish to upload folders to using Internet Explorer


2. Once browsed to the document library you need to upload to you need to click within the boundary of the document library, highlighted in Red (See image below).


3. If done correctly you should now see Files/Library along the top bar, Highlighted in Green.



4. Once clicking on Library you want to select the Open with  Explorer, Highlighted in Red


5. You should now see the below window open up like any other file on your desktop, from there you can drag any folder from your computer into the document library which will upload to SharePoint. 



6. If you want to copy folders from the old to the new Gateway follow the same process on old gateway and copy files from one page to another using this method.
